Welcome to WDJS ("What Did Jesus Say"), a faith-based emotional comfort application developed by Empathy Tech Solutions LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. WDJS is designed with privacy as a core principle:

• No account required: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use WDJS.
• Local storage only: All app data (your progress, saved verses, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage.
• No transmission: Your responses to scenarios, emotional selections, and saved verses never leave your device.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Scenario completion history
• Saved verses
• Blessing points and streak count
• Summit progression level
• Display preferences (font size, display mode)
• Last played date

This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

4. Analytics (Future Implementation)

In future versions, we may implement privacy-respecting analytics (such as PostHog) to understand general usage patterns. If implemented:

• Analytics will be anonymized and aggregated
• No personal information or scenario responses will be collected
• You will be notified of any changes to this policy

5. Third-Party Services

WDJS may integrate with the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: For subscription management (if you choose to subscribe). RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
• App Stores: Apple App Store and Google Play Store have their own privacy policies governing app downloads and payments.

6. Scripture Content

WDJS uses scripture from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, which is in the public domain. No licensing or personal data is involved in scripture delivery.

7. Children's Privacy

WDJS is designed for adults aged 45 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• In-app: Use Settings → "Reset All Data" to clear all app data
• Browser: Clear your browser's localStorage for the WDJS domain
• Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all associated data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
